Beaver Senior Captain Named to All-SCIAC Team
November 6, 2007 - Caltech's Nathan Chan was named to the 2007 All-SCIAC, 2nd Team. Chan, a senior team captain and midfielder is from Westwood High School in Austin, Texas is a double major at Caltech, majoring in both Environmental Engineering and English. In addition to soccer, Nathan is a member of Engineers for a Sustainable World and the Caltech Sustainability Council. (click her for more information)

Beavers enjoy a "friendly" with Beaver Alums...
The men's soccer team played their Alumni counterparts to the 2-2 tie at the end of regulation and opted for the barbeque instead of overtime. Even Coach Uribe saw action for the Alumni team and good time was had by all in attendance.

Men's Soccer Knocks Off Whittier, Again
...
Saturday, October 20, 2007 - In a repeat performance at SCIAC rival Whittier College the Caltech Beaver soccer team defeated the Poets by a score of 1-0 overtime. The deciding goal was scored by sophomore, Daniel Beylkin (Boulder, CO) with an assist from freshman, Grayson Chadwick (Santa Barbara, CA) in the 99th minute of the contest.
This is the first
SCIAC victory of the season. The Beavers defeated the Poets at Whittier the last they visited the Poets which was last year with a 2-1 overtime win on September 30, 2006.

BEAVERS KNOCK OFF POETS IN SCIAC MEN'S SOCCER

September 30, 2006 - Whittier,CA
The Caltech Men’s Soccer team traveled to Whittier College and came away with a 2-1 road victory over the Whittier Poets (2-5). Both Beaver goals were scored by Daniel Belykin a freshman from Boulder, CO with assists by Daryl Coleman a freshman from Aiken, SC and Yezdan Badrakhan a sophomore from Los Angeles, respectively. This is the first SCIAC victory of the season for Tech; congratulations are in order for Coach Uribe, his assistant Coach Ted Armstrong and the entire team.

September - 2006
Men's Soccer Open Season at Home

The Beaver Men’s Soccer team opened the 2006 campaign on their recently renovated North Athletic field. After play three seasons on the South Field it was great to have a home match back on the North Field. Sunday, September 9th Caltech played host to a brand new first year Cal State San Marcos soccer team and then hosted La Sierra University on September 12th. The Beavers are in action again on September 14th against UC Santa Cruz before hosting their first SCIAC match on September 16th against Occidental at 11am.

Coach Uribe welcomes back a mixed squad of veterans along with some new faces all with a strong determination to have a successful season.
