Coach Julie Levesque
Julie
Levesque enters her ninth season as the Head Coach of
the Men's and Women's track and field teams at Caltech. Julie also serves as Assistant Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator.
During her time at here, Levesque has become increasingly involved in
the athletics department. In addition to coaching
the track & field teams, she currently serves as Caltech's Assistant Athletics Director and Senior
Woman Administrator, and teaches Physical Education classes in Track & Field and Speed & Agility.
Levesque was a standout track and field athlete in college,
becoming a three-time All-American (1991-93) at Cal
Poly SLO. In fact, she finished in the top five
at the NCAA Championships all three of those seasons,
taking third place in 1991, fifth in 1992 and concluding
her collegiate career with a tie for second place in
1993. In 1991, her sophomore season, Cal Poly
won their third-straight NCAA Division II Women's Outdoor
Track and Field Team Championship. She earned
her B.S. in Kinesiology from Cal Poly in 1994 and an
M.S. in Kinesiology from Cal Poly in 1996.
Levesque and her husband, Damien live in Agoura Hills with their three sons Grant, Garrett and Owen.
